Discover the next wave of original music emerging from the South of Scotland.
This special showcase brings together a selection of young artists who have taken part in Geez A Choon, Up Yer Airts’ flagship development programme supporting young musicians from Dumfries and Galloway to write, collaborate, and perform their own work with confidence. Through an intensive residential process, artists are given time, space, and support to develop their sound and take important steps towards performing on bigger stages across Scotland.
Expect an afternoon of fresh voices, new songs, and a wide mix of styles from some of the region’s most exciting emerging talent.
Geez A Choon is about building real pathways for young musicians, not just one-off performances. This showcase offers a chance to hear what’s happening now across the region’s grassroots scene and what’s coming next.
